DEPA® Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps, Cast Metal Pumps, Series M
Overview
DEPA® Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps were developed for the smooth transfer of abrasive, solids-containing and viscous media. The direct pneumatic drive means that no electric driven motors, base plates and couplings are needed. The compact and efficient designs are easy to transport, making them flexible enough to use on construction sites, in the mining industry, as well as in stationary operation in different industries.
Bodies made of cast aluminum AL 233, ductile iron GGG 40 and cast stainless steel 316L are available so that the pumps can be individually adapted to transfer tasks. The materials for diaphragms, valve seats and valve balls have to be selected from the compatibility list. The units are manufactured in five different sizes (types), with the connections DN 15 - DN 80, which is equivalent to R ˝" - R 3". All pumps are delivered ready for operation and only have to be connected to the main air supply system. |
DEPA® Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps, Non Metallic Pumps, Series P
Air operated diaphragm pump, with the individual body parts made from Polypropylen, PVDF or PTFE.
Overview
Pumps produced from metals often lack the required chemical resistance to corrosive media. To meet such corrosive resistance requirements, we developed air operated pumps made from Polypropylene, PVDF or PTFE.
Our non metallic pumps deliver the performance of metal pumps, and can be installed in chemically aggressive environments.
Virtually all fluids, from water to slurries/pastes can be pumped.
Various materials for body, diaphragms, valve seats and valve balls are available so that the pumps can be individually adapted. The pumps are manufactured in 5 or 7 different sizes (types) with connecting flanges in accordance with DIN, ANSI und JIS.
For explosion-proof areas, electrically conductive materials are available.
In order to avoid electrostatic self-charge of the pumps when discharging insulating fluids, the pumps can be suplied in electrically conductive PP or PTFE. |

DEPA® Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps, High Pressure Pumps, Series DB
DEPA® Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps are a cost-effective alternative in pressure-maintaining operation since any elaborate and costly closed-loop or open-loop control is dispensed with.
Overview
DEPA® Air Operated High Pressure Diaphragm Pumps (series-M), type DB, are preferred by filter press operators.
The DEPA® high pressure pumps are factory set to 13bar (188psi), 16bar (232psi) or 21 bar (305psi). They can be operated at the required working point.
The variable pressures possible with the DEPA® pumps protect the filter press while the short filling cycles improve the productivity of the entire filter process.
There are 3 sizes available so that the pumps can be individually adapted to requirements of the transfer tasks. While the body is made of cast stainless steel, various elastomer materials for diaphragms, valve seat,s and valve balls are also available.

DEPA® Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps, Powder Pumps, Series DP
DEPA® Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps, Powder Pumps, Series DP for the Discharge of Powdery Substances.
Overview
The largest Air-Operated Diaphragm Pump in the world (DP 125) with a flow rate of up to 2400 kg (5291 lb/h) at a bulk weight of 60 g (0.1 lb)/l, was developed and manufactured by Crane in cooperation with process industry partners.
Until now, no other pump type has been able to fulfil the specific task settings of the industry in an economical and functional way.
All DEPA diaphragm powder pumps are fitted with specially formed suction and discharge manifolds for favorable flow conditions.
The high flow rate is achieved by good fluidization of the products. Regarding the discharge of granulates and crystalline media, special requirements have to be met.
Various materials for body, diaphragms, valve seats and valve balls are available.
